What is the difference between virgin resin and regrind?

You are here:
< Back

Often overlooked in drip irrigation systems is the quality of tubing being installed. Whether it’s brown emitter line or black supply tubing, virgin resin is crucial in long-term project success.

Some additives are useful, such as the additives JAIN uses to protect against harmful UV rays. JAIN tubing is made of 3M virgin resin and comes with a ten year warranty against weather breakdown. Virgin resin tubing is stiffer than regrind tubing and holds fittings tighter, regardless of fluctuations in temperature.
