The Texas Agricultural Irrigation Association (TAIA) elected Bobby De Leon, Central Regional Sales Manager for JAIN Irrigation, Inc. as their President for 2019.
“The TAIA brings members from the irrigation industry, research, education, and production agriculture together to work toward water conservation and improved profitability in irrigated agriculture.
TAIA was established in 1991 to promote quality standards in irrigation: proper design, installation, and management of agricultural irrigation systems. We recognize the agricultural irrigation industry is vital to sustaining production agriculture. We place a strong emphasis on education for everyone associated with the manufacturing, distribution, installation, and management of modern agricultural irrigation equipment. “
Bobby has been in the agricultural irrigation industry since 1998, and the agriculture industry since 1993. In his almost seven years with JAIN Irrigation, he has been responsible for growing and managing sales in the Central United States. “It is a privilege to serve our great industry, and be able to give back to our membership. Furthermore, it will be an honor to be an advocate and serve our great Agricultural Producers that provide food, fiber, and fuel for us, all the while conserving our precious water resources.”
