A conversation with Britt Wood, CEO, and Andrew Bray, V.P. Government Relations for The National Association of Landscape Professionals.

The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) is the national trade association representing nearly 1 Million landscape industry professionals in the United States, Canada, and overseas. Member companies specialize in lawn care, landscape design and installation, landscape maintenance, tree care, irrigation and water management, and interior plantscaping. Members also include students, consultants, industry suppliers, state associations, and affiliate members.

Andrew Bray

Vice President of Government Relations, National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP)

Andrew Bray has been the Vice President of Government Relations for the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) since 2018. Bray is a seasoned association advocate, having worked in a government relations capacity for the North American Meat Institute, the Grocer Manufacturers Association and most recently as the Vice President of Public Policy at the National Pest Management Association. Early in his career, Bray honed his policy, advocacy and political skills working on Capitol Hill in a Congressional Office and while working on multiple Federal, State and local campaigns. Bray earned his law degree in 2013 and maintains an active license to practice law in the state of Virginia.

CEO, National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP)

Britt Wood was named the Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP), which represents more than 1 million landscape, lawn care, irrigation and tree care professionals across the country, in September 2019. Prior to joining NALP, Wood spent more than two decades in trade association executive leadership roles, most recently as senior vice president of business development and industry relations for the Consumer Healthcare Products Association. Previously, Wood held positions with the International Foodservice Distributors Association, American Society of Civil Engineers, Loss Prevention Foundation and the Retail Industry Leaders Association.
