Consumers are more intelligent today. As a result, they demand more information to understand the products they buy.

The Consumer Bill of Rights for Irrigation provides an excellent outline for understanding irrigation products. Consumers will use their dollars to express their trust and confidence in products and manufacturers.

As an industry, we should strive to set a high standard for our products and services. We need to take steps to self-regulate or be subject to additional regulations from lawmakers who know less about irrigation than we do. In addition, most of our work takes place with a high level of trust from individuals.

Most consumers don’t worry about the quality of their water. Instead, they trust the food we grow and the landscapes we water are done safely and cause them no harm.

This is the second part of a three part series, you can watch the first part here.

In this webinar we will discuss:

  1. The questions you need to ask when purchasing irrigation products
  2. The product knowledge you need to buy the best product for the job
  3. What you gain with the proper questions and understanding
  4. Understanding the requirements of maintaining and operating an irrigation system for the life span of the products and the crop you are growing.

How The “Right” Irrigation Fitting Saves Water

There are three basic irrigation fittings available, and your selection of the three makes a significant difference in water savings.

Selecting the correct fitting for your particular irrigation project does not seem that difficult until you do a google search. So many fittings and so little time. This drives you crazy because picking the wrong fitting results in callbacks, water waste, and slowdowns on the job. You don’t need any of that, and we are here to help again this week.
