Today’s irrigation world for many is unstable, and the future will be even more turbulent. Resin, cardboard, and transportation prices are through the roof. Products get more expensive every day, and even at high prices, they are tough to acquire. Simultaneously customer demands are increasing. End-user business is strong, and the current product supply situation combined with transportation challenges makes this year one of the most challenging.

Michael Pippen, Director of Business Development, worked as growers and a dealer before coming to Jain Irrigation, Inc. He has a 360-degree view of what is happening in the industry and has three key areas to focus on in the coming year to make it successful. If you are a dealer, distributor, grower, or landscape contractor, you don’t want to miss this session.
Michael Pippen

Director of Business Development

My entire career and personal life has been immersed in the agriculture industry. Being raised on a farm in the Mississippi River Delta, my background is in the commodity crops of cotton, corn, and soybeans. My professional career has been focused in the specialty fruit, vegetable and nut crops, however I now am spending considerable time in the commercial landscape market as well. Early in my career I provided CRM, design and sales services. More recently I have concentrated on market development, team management and strategic planning. I believe my experience at the field, distributor and manufacturer level gives me a unique perspective. My career passion is to provide practical solutions to help growers and property managers make better decisions by utilizing field proven technologies.
