Part 1 – Nitrogen

Is nitrogen fertilizer ruining the environment or is it the secret to how we can grow enough crops to feed the world. Maybe the answer lies somewhere in-between?

Please join us for a three part series on nitrogen management presented by Jain Irrigation’s President, Aric Olson.  In this three part series you will learn:

  1. The difference between sources of nitrogen and why knowing the difference is important
  2. The value of organic sources of nitrogen and how to manage organic nitrogen for best results
  3. How to use affordable technology to manage fertilizer to maximize yields, reduce pollution, and eliminate waste
  4. Fertilizer’s impact on yield, production cost, the environment, and regulatory considerations

Aric Olson has spent his lifetime in agriculture, the last 14 as President of Jain Irrigation, todays leader in agricultural irrigation technology.  He also earned Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota.
